USA Water Polo recently announced the 2018 Zone Award Winners and the Riptides were represented all around! The winners, representing zones from all across the country, honor contributions in variety of areas including coaching, officiating, volunteering, masters water polo, and more.

 

Here’s a list of our Riptides that were recognized:

  • Coach Carroll Vaughan – Monte Nitzkowski Distinguished Coaching Award
  • Priam Rosenberg – Barbara Kalbus Distinguished Volunteer Award
  • Christopher Arias – Bryan Weaver Distinguished Male Masters Athlete of the Year Award
  • Samantha Capparelli – Bryan Weaver Distinguished Female Masters Athlete of the Year Award

 

From these zone award winners will come the USA Water Polo National Award winners. The National Award winners will be announced next month in conjunction with the USA Water Polo Assembly.
